The team at Form Bespoke Jewellers in Leeds were asked to create a modern solitaire engagement ring for this customer.
The design included a deep shank that tapered in to a half collet setting. This was to provide a bold frame for the diamond was also drawing the eye to the solitaire stone. A half collet setting allows extra light to enter the diamond through it’s open sides too, so it was all about picking the perfect diamond!

For this customer, they chose this beautiful round brilliant cut diamond. It was 0.63 carats at of D colour and SI clarity, a real stunner! This lovely solitaire engagement ring was cast in platinum to complete the contemporary look.
