The customer returned to us for a bespoke fitted wedding ring that would have options for more diamonds to be set in the future.
The customer's engagement ring had been inspired by one of our previous creations: an 18ct White Gold Princess Cut Diamond Halo Engagement Ring. The ring boasts an unusual flat profile across the halo (as opposed to the more traditional style with the centre stone being slightly raised). This proved to be both a functional and elegant design detail.
Unlike our previous commission, the customer had chosen to create a twist design on the shank rather than stylised tapered shoulders. Although this was a beautiful design detail, it provided more of a challenge to find a wedding ring that would fit neatly alongside it.
So our expert jewellers here at Form Bespoke Jewellers in Leeds, created a CAD design of a perfectly shaped fitted wedding ring that would sit right up next to the engagement ring shape. The design was then sent to our casters to be cast in the same metal as the engagement ring - platinum. On it's return to us, a selection of diamonds were hand set down the shoulders, with options left for more diamonds to be added in the future.
