A cluster ring remodelling using yellow and white gold.
The customer came to us with an existing ring that they were looking to have remodelled. Importantly, they wanted to incorporate both yellow and white gold to follow a traditional setting style.
So firstly, the band of the ring and the bottom of the setting were created in yellow gold. Then, in order to complement the emerald and diamond halo, a secondary part (making up the tips of the claws) was cast in white gold. This was then soldered, by hand, onto the yellow gold base to create a two-toned basket. A beautiful feature-setting.
Our expert jewellers hand set the beautiful cluster stones, and the final polish was completed in our Chapel Allerton workshop.
