A ‘two-toned precious metal’ design is a classic engagement ring style. Traditionally, white metal is used for the setting of a diamond in order to compliment the white stone and also to enable white light to refract through the diamond no matter what colour of metal is chosen for the rest of the band. In this case, the customer chose beautiful 18ct rose gold for the engagement ring band.
They also decided on a classic solitaire design, with an unusual but stunning diamond cut: the oval cut. This elegant stone lies along the length of the finger. The v-shaped, four-claw setting frames the oval stone beautifully too.

A bespoke four claw solitaire diamond engagement ring, boasting a beautiful round brilliant cut diamond.
After sitting down with the customer, our expert jewellers here at Form Bespoke Jewellers, sourced a selection of round brilliant cut diamonds to fit the customer’s preferred colour and clarity choices. A stunning diamond was chosen and then hand set with a four claw setting into a platinum band. The ring was then hand finished and hand polished in our Chapel Allerton studio.

The solitaire round brilliant cut diamond is 0.43 carats, of G colour and VS1 clarity. If you would like to know a little more about diamond specifications, please see our Diamond Guide.
An 18ct white gold open claw setting was used for the diamond. This allows for a great amount of light to enter the diamond and in turn creates lots of sparkle! The bright white of the metal also compliments the white solitaire stone beautifully. The diamond was hand set by one of our expert jewellers here at Form Bespoke Jewellers.
To contrast, the band of the ring is cast in 18ct yellow gold which could be considered as a traditional design choice. However, the white gold contemporary setting then gives this engagement ring a stylish modern twist!

The customer came to us inspired by a Tiffany Kiss style engagement ring they had seen in our showroom.
They hand picked on a 0.70ct princess cut diamond for the solitaire centre stone. This was then set in a Tiffany Kiss style setting. A stylised four-claw setting, it allows for lots of light to enter the diamond and in turn creates extra sparkle!
Cast in platinum, this engagement ring (like all the rings handmade by Form Bespoke Jewellers) was hand set and finished in our Yorkshire workshop. The customer was delighted with the final result.

We love the stylised additions to this traditional solitaire diamond engagement ring.
Firstly, the platinum shank of the ring tapers beautifully towards the diamond. This allows the eye to travel instinctively up to the main attraction! Secondly, the stunning round brilliant cut diamond was hand set with four double-claws. A subtle and elegant detail, this frames the diamond beautifully.
The customer themselves was able to choose their specific solitaire diamond too, (a special service we can offer as bespoke jewellers).

Princess Cut Diamond, Round Brilliant Cut Diamonds
The thought behind this princess cut diamond halo engagement ring was to have a bold flash of diamonds when looking from the above, whilst still also being able to see the centre diamond from the side.
The ring was cast in 18 carat white gold to compliment the princess cut diamond. Surrounding the centre stone are 16 round brilliant cut diamonds in a classic halo styling. Following the shape of the centre diamond, the halo became a bold diamond shape of it’s own.
The sides of the setting were left open to enable light to hit the centre stone and also so you can see the bottom of the diamond too!
The customer was so over the moon with their dazzling engagement ring that they decided to return to us for 18ct White Gold Sapphire and Diamond Eternity Ring.

Bold and beautiful, a cushion cut diamond sits at the centre of this bespoke engagement ring design. Petite, round brilliant cut diamonds then frame the centre stone in a beautiful, sparking halo. To ensure a flawless finish, all the diamonds are of matching colour and clarity.
The shoulders of the ring are split to create a pretty, undulating profile too. They are also diamond set, by hand, for that extra sparkle!
The customer chose for their bespoke engagement ring to be cast in platinum. A great choice for such a sparkling piece. Stunning!

Round Brilliant Cut Diamonds
During their appointment at Form Bespoke Jewellers showroom in Leeds, this couple was inspired by a previous commission and asked us to create this stunning version of a Tiffany style engagement ring.
This rounded version was created by hand by the team at Form Bespoke Jewellers before being cast in 18ct yellow and white gold. The customer chose a 0.60ct H colour SI1 clarity brilliant cut diamond centre stone which was certified by the IGI. The head was then set with a further 29 x 0.01ct round brilliant cut diamonds of matching colour and clarity, at the Chapel Allerton studio in Leeds.
We have since created a pendant to coordinate beautifully with this engagement ring, the perfect gift for a bride to wear on her wedding day!
