Platinum Round brillaint cut diamond trilogy engagement ring

As a bespoke jewellers, one of our specialities is remodelling a customer's existing jewellery into a new bespoke piece.  Here, we worked with the customer's three round brilliant cut diamonds from a ring that was no longer wearable. The largest stone sits at the centre of the design, with the two smaller diamonds set either side. All three diamonds are hand set in bold illusion settings with open sides. This allows plenty of light to enter the diamonds and in turn create lots of sparkle.

The ring is cast in platinum for a beautiful and durable finish.

Platinum Emerald Cut Diamond Trilogy Engagement Ring

They were keen to get a set of diamonds that proportionally sat perfectly together and the team in Chapel Allerton brought in a selection of diamonds for the customer to choose from.

They selected a 0.91carat, D colour, VS1 clarity, emerald cut diamond for the centre stone, and two D colour, VVS2 clarity, emerald cuts diamonds to sit either side. All the diamonds they selected were certified by the GIA.

Their beautiful diamonds were then set by hand in a classic platinum trilogy setting and finished by the team at the Chapel Allerton studio in Leeds.

This bespoke engagement ring follows a traditional style of using white gold on the four claw setting, where the metal is directly next to the diamond. This helps to compliment the diamond's white hue and not detract away from it with a contrasting tone.

The customer chose three emerald cut diamonds for their trilogy engagement ring which were of matching colour and clarity to create a flawless finish. 

The band of the ring was chosen to be cast in 18ct yellow gold and the ring was finished and polished in our Leeds studio.

Platinum Marquise and Pear Cut Diamond Trilogy Engagement Ring

The team at Form Bespoke Jewellers worked with this customer on a range of designs for an engagement ring featuring a marquise cut diamond centre.

The customer decided to have pear cut diamonds set to each side of the marquise diamond and so we arranged for a selection of diamonds to be sent in for the customer to view.

 The customer chose a 0.56 carat marquise cut diamond of G colour and a pair of 4mm x 2.2mm pear cut diamonds of matching colour and clarity (with a combined diamond weight of 0.14 carat).

The final design was adjusted to work perfectly with the selected diamonds and once approved the ring was cast into platinum.

This unusual combination of diamonds works beautifully and also creates a truly bespoke engagement ring.

Palladium Diamond Trilogy Engagement Ring

Many of our customers have inherited jewellery which they would like to be redesigned, or they would like to change the setting style or precious metal colour of the jewellery that they no longer wear. The team at Form Bespoke Jewellers in Leeds created this design to suit three diamonds that the customer already had.

Initially created by hand in pewter this design features a tension style setting and rub setting. Once approved by the customer the design was then cast into palladium and the diamonds were hand set into this bespoke engagement ring.

Diamond Tension Style Engagement Ring

,

A beautiful platinum engagement ring with a 1.06ct round brilliant cut diamond set in a tension style.

This couple were looking to create a bespoke engagement ring and the team at Form Bespoke Jewellers hand created this design in pewter. It features a tension style setting enabling the diamond to be seen clearly as if suspended in the setting and also allows light to flood the facets resulting in maximum sparkle!!

Once approved, the design was then cast into platinum.

The couple chose a 1.06ct certified round brilliant diamond centre stone of J colour and SI2 clarity for the centre, and to each shoulder set a 2.5mm round brilliant cut diamond (with a combined diamond weight of 0.16 carat). The shoulder diamonds were set between two engraved lines running parallel along the ring shank, for an added design detail.

The couple were so delighted they each sent a testimonial; "I collected the engagement ring. It looks incredible! Thank you very much. Caroline does not have it yet, but she will be amazed; it is fantastic. I'm sure we will see you again in the near future." ... "Thank you very much for spending time with my engagement ring yesterday and I'm sorry it delayed you for your next client. The ring fits perfectly and I have been proud to wear it all day today! Thank you again for all your hard work and for creating a beautiful ring that you should be very proud of. We will look forward to seeing you when we come back for the wedding bands."

Heart Cut Diamond Cluster Engagement Ring

A bespoke cluster engagement ring boasting an unusual heart cut diamond.

The customer came to us with a unique design in mind. They wanted to create a bespoke engagement ring for their partner that would have maximum sparkle and contain a heart cut diamond centre stone. Alongside the help of our expert jewellers, this bold and beautiful cluster design was created.

We used our CAD software to create a virtual image of what the final engagement ring would look like, and once approved by the customer, the file was sent to our reputable casters. Here is was cast into platinum and returned to us for setting.

A selection of heart cut diamonds were sourced for the customer to choose from and this stunning diamond was rub set by hand into the ring. Surrounding this centre stone, round brilliant cut diamonds have been grain set in a halo cluster style. More diamonds were then set around the sides of the setting, down the shoulders of the engagement ring and on the sides of the shank too! Lots of diamonds, just as the customer asked for in his initial meeting with us.

The final piece was a super sparkler and the customer was thrilled!

Diamond and Alexandrite Engagement Ring

Diamond and Alexandrite Engagement Ring

The customer came to us with an idea of an engagement ring design using diamond and alexandrite.

He wanted a two stone engagement ring that would have the infinity symbol incorporated in the setting edge and once our team at Form Bespoke Jewellers knew the basic design, it was time to source the all important stones.

It was great to see a customer choosing Alexandrite for one of his centre stones as its colour play is really interesting. Alexandrite results from small scale replacement of aluminium by chromium oxide. This is what is responsible for it's characteristic green to red colour change. We were able to source a selection of fine quality Alexandrites with good colour plays for the customer to choose from, and once we’d found the right stone, we were able to match it to a complimenting diamond.

The round brilliant cut diamond we used was 0.71cts and a H colour and Si quality, that had been certified by GIA and all the comments on the certificate were Excellent.

The prototype of the engagement ring was made up and approved by the customer before being sent to the caster to be cast in platinum.

The gaps (gallery) in the side of the ring shows off both the diamond and alexandrite really well, so you’re able to see as much of them as possible and let as much light in as you can. With the shoulders of the ring fluting out as it meets the head, we thought it would be nice to add a couple of diamonds in each one; they taper in size and add a lovely touch of sparkle.

This in an engagement ring that we’re really proud of!

Surrounding this oval cut diamond is a halo of smaller round brilliant cut diamonds. This frames the diamond beautifully whilst also giving the illusion of a larger centre stone. All the diamonds are hand set into a neat, stylised basket. A lovely design feature of this bespoke engagement ring. 

The customer also chose a platinum band with split and tapered shoulders. Another pretty design feature bringing all the attention back to the diamond halo.

Double Band Diamond Set Swirl Engagement Ring

A bespoke and beautiful double band engagement ring with a diamond set swirl.

At the heart of this engagement ring design are two stunning round brilliant cut diamonds of matching colour and clarity. The larger of the two diamonds is part rub set in an elegant white gold swirl that emerges from the band. The second, smaller diamond is claw set. This is a neat and simple design decision that allows for lots of light to reach the diamond.

The whole engagement ring works upon a wrapping swirl design. The double band of white gold metal appears to wrap around the finger, capturing the diamonds on one side and flicking neatly away on the other.

Platinum Asscher Cut Diamond Halo Engagement Ring

A stunning platinum halo engagement ring with an asscher cut diamond centre stone.

The customer came to us for a bespoke engagement ring that boasted a beautiful 0.70ct asscher cut diamond. Following in the style of one of our previous creations, a Palladium Tiffany Inspired Victorian Style Engagement Ring, they were looking to have an octagonal halo around the centre diamond.

A millgrain detail separates the centre asscher cut diamond and the 16 round brilliant cut grain set diamonds of the halo. This intricate detail then carries on down the shoulders to frame a further selection of round brilliant cut diamonds of matching colour and clarity.

Green & Benz Style inspired Diamond Cluster Ring

The customer had seen a style of engagement ring that they liked by Green and Benz, but they wanted to change aspects of the design to make it personal to them.

Working within their budget, the team at Form Bespoke Jewellers sourced a selection of diamonds for the centre stone. The customer selected a 0.56 carat round brilliant cut diamond of E colour and SI2 clarity, which has been certified by the IGI.

The centre diamond is surrounded by 12 x 1.5mm grain set diamonds of matching colour and clarity, with a further 2 x 1.9mm and 2 x 1.3mm eight cut round diamonds set to the shoulders (with a combined diamond weight of 0.27 carats).

The team at Form Bespoke Jewellers then created a model to fit the centre diamond and the surrounding head and shoulder diamonds perfectly. The model was cast into platinum and set and finished at the Chapel Allerton showroom in Leeds.

A sample of this beautiful ring continues to be admired by many new customers in our showroom.

The customer came back to create their wedding rings and they sent us a card to let us know what they thought of their rings; "Hello, Just wanted to let you know that we made it to Gretna Green in a campervan & managed to get married in secret. There's been alot of celebration since! Thank you all so much for your help in creating our rings. We love them and really appreciated all your help & experience."

Four Diamond Cluster Engagement Ring

A modern feminine cluster engagement ring with four diamonds.

The customer had inherited a piece of jewellery and they wanted to use the diamonds to create an engagement ring. We are often asked to re-model or re-set jewellery which has been inherited and has sentimental value but is not in the style that the owner would wear.

The team at Form Bespoke Jewellers in Leeds created this beautiful design for the customer after discussing a variety of options.

The platinum shank tapers and flicks at each end creating the fluid setting for the four round brilliant cut diamonds with a combined weight of 0.35carat.
