18ct Diamond Set Fitted Wedding Ring

A wedding ring to fit a Marquise cut diamond engagement ring

After searching accross the UK, this couple travelled from Plymouth to our showroom in Leeds to create their fitted wedding ring. To read more about their experience please read our article.

The customer came to us with an engagement ring that they had bought elsewhere, and were looking to create a wedding ring. The Marquise diamond centre stone often requires a bespoke wedding ring, and the asymmetric wave shoulders added to this need for a fitted wedding ring.

The team at Form Bespoke Jewellers in Leeds worked though a variety of designs with the customer to create this style which fits perfectly against the marquise diamond. The customer decided to have the fitted wedding ring made in 18ct white gold and added 6 x 2mm brilliant cut diamonds to accents the wave shoulders, with a combined diamond weight of 0.21carats.

The customer sent us a card to let us know what they thought of their rings;

"To Tim, Thank you so much for making our wedding rings. We are ‘over the moon’ with them. I have had so many comments on my bespoke wedding ring-people always notice it.
Thank you for all the help and advice that you gave us. We really appreciate it. It was well worth the trip to Leeds! Hopefully I will be back sometime in the future for an eternity ring!"

Diamond Set Fitted Wedding Ring to Twist Engagement Ring

A diamond set fitted wedding ring handmade to sit perfectly alongside the customer's twist engagement ring.

As the engagement ring had a twisted shank, it meant that the profile of the ring had an unusual zigzag shape. Using pewter, our expert jeweller created a model of a fitted wedding ring that shaped neatly alongside the zigzag edge. The model was then sent to the casters to be cast into 18ct white gold to match the engagement ring,

Eight princess cut diamonds were then channel set into the top of the wedding ring, finishing at the some point as the engagement ring. Sat next to one another, the pair look like they were always meant to be together.

Platinum Pave Fitted Wedding Ring

A perfectly fitted wedding ring pave set with diamonds and cast in platinum.

The customer came to us with their oval solitaire engagement ring, and asked us to create a fitted wedding ring to compliment it.

The team at Form Bespoke Jewellers in Leeds created a 4.2mm band and shaped the profile by hand to fit perfectly against the setting of the diamond in the engagement ring.

The ring was cast in platinum and then pave set by hand with 0.35carat round brilliant cut diamonds.

Platinum Diamond Set Fitted Wedding Ring

Designed to fit against the customer’s engagement ring

This customer had already bought her engagement ring and came to Form Bespoke Jewellers to create a wedding ring to fit perfectly against it.

The team at Form Bespoke Jewellers created a profile model by hand and then had the model cast in Platinum to compliment the engagement ring.

The wedding ring was then channel set with 12 x 2mm round brilliant cut diamonds of G colour and SI clarity and a combined diamond weight if 0.42carats and finished at the Chapel Allerton studio.

The customer came to us to create a bespoke wedding ring that would sit perfectly alongside their pearl engagement ring.

A wrapping effect and two pearls are at the heart of the design, imitating the unique details of the engagement ring. The pearls flank the solitaire engagement ring stone creating a trilogy illusion, and are rub set for a matching, tactile finish.

The wedding ring is also cast in silver to complement the original ring beautifully.

The customer came to us looking for a platinum, diamond set, fitted wedding ring.

The customer's engagement ring was bought elsewhere and they were struggling to find a wedding ring that would sit perfectly alongside its unusual shape.

At Form Bespoke Jewellers, we can create almost any shape of wedding ring to fit even the most undulating engagement ring style. Firstly, we borrow your engagement ring and hand shape a pewter version of your fitted wedding ring. This is for you to try on and suggest any alterations that you would prefer. Once you are happy with the shape, fit and feel of the model, it is sent to our reputable casters to be cast in your chosen metal.

Here, a pewter model was hand shaped around the customer's sweeping trilogy heart engagement ring. It mirrored the heart shape of the engagement ring design and maintained a matching width and profile. It was then cast in platinum. On its return to us, it was hand set with round brilliant cut diamonds, then finished and polished by our expert jewellers.

This customer asked us to create a fitted wedding ring to sit perfectly along side her existing platinum engagement ring which features a twisted band and princess cut diamond setting.

The team at Form Bespoke Jewellers created a design to compliment the proportions and balance of the engagement ring design. Once the customer had approved the model, the ring was cast in platinum and the four 0.01 carat diamonds were grain set in a diagonal line to compliment the design flow of the engagement ring.

Diamond Pave Fitted Wedding Ring

The perfect fit!

This stunning diamond pave fitted wedding ring has been created by the team at Form Bespoke Jewellers to compliment the engagement ring that we made for this customer.

Using the profile of the engagement ring, a prototype model was initially created in pewter by hand before being cast into platinum to match the engagement ring. The D section band was set to three sides with a combination of 1mm and 1.3mm brilliant cut diamonds to match the setting in the engagement ring perfectly.

The emerald cut diamond from the engagement ring sits perfectly against this fitted wedding ring giving the illusion that it is a straight band!

Each of our fitted wedding rings is hand made and unique to you and your engagement ring. All work takes place in house at our work-shop in Chapel Allerton and we only need your engagement ring for a couple of days.

Another stunning example of our unrivalled skills at creating wedding rings that fit perfectly against any shape of engagement ring

This customer did not buy their engagement ring from Form Bespoke Jewellers however its unusual profile was causing them difficulty in finding a wedding ring to sit perfectly against it.

The team at Form Bespoke Jewellers worked with them to create a wedding ring which matches the width, depth, proportions and design of the engagement ring perfectly. Initially hand made in pewter at the Chapel Allerton workshop, the approved model was then sent to me cast into 18ct white gold to match the engagement ring.

The ring was then hand set with 25 x 1.3mm round brilliant cut diamonds  diamonds which again matched the diamonds ad setting style of the engagement ring.

The result is that you would never know that these rings had not been created as a pair!

A stunning engagement and wedding ring set showcasing round brilliant cut diamonds.

Our client came to us with a design idea for her engagement ring and was then looking to have a bespoke wedding ring shaped to fit against it.

After meeting with us in our Leeds showroom, we were able to come up with a few different options for her to choose from.

The approved engagement ring design included two different sized round brilliant cut diamonds hand set into a sweep style platinum setting. The wedding ring then included a smaller round brilliant cut diamond set in line with the engagement ring.

The two bespoke rings sit perfectly alongside one another creating the illusion of one ring with tapering diamonds.

The customer came to us for a yellow gold diamond fitted wedding ring to sit perfectly alongside their engagement ring (which was also made by us here at Form Bespoke Jewellers).

Their engagement ring was a: Tiffany Inspired 18ct yellow gold engagement ring. It was set with a beautiful marquise cut diamond weighing 0.41cts and of G colour and VS clarity).

Our expert jewellers created this 18ct yellow gold diamond fitted wedding ring to fit perfectly against the profile of the engagement ring. It was set all the way round with round brilliant cut diamonds, then hand finished and polished in our Chapel Allerton workshop.

This pair was meant to be together!

The customer came to visit us looking for a bespoke wedding ring that would sit beautifully alongside their solitaire engagement ring. Alongside the guidance of our expert jewellers, the couple created this beautiful organic design.

At the heart of the wedding ring is a bold, round brilliant cut ruby. On the shoulders of the ring is a bespoke leaf and diamond design which frames the ruby beautifully. 

Cast in white gold, this bespoke fitted wedding ring is a lovely companion to the customer's solitaire engagement ring and the two sit perfectly together.

Fitted Wedding Ring with Options to Diamond Set

The customer returned to us for a bespoke fitted wedding ring that would have options for more diamonds to be set in the future.

The customer's engagement ring had been inspired by one of our previous creations: an 18ct White Gold Princess Cut Diamond Halo Engagement Ring. The ring boasts an unusual flat profile across the halo (as opposed to the more traditional style with the centre stone being slightly raised). This proved to be both a functional and elegant design detail.

Unlike our previous commission, the customer had chosen to create a twist design on the shank rather than stylised tapered shoulders. Although this was a beautiful design detail, it provided more of a challenge to find a wedding ring that would fit neatly alongside it.

So our expert jewellers here at Form Bespoke Jewellers in Leeds, created a CAD design of a perfectly shaped fitted wedding ring that would sit right up next to the engagement ring shape. The design was then sent to our casters to be cast in the same metal as the engagement ring - platinum. On it's return to us, a selection of diamonds were hand set down the shoulders, with options left for more diamonds to be added in the future.
